Show Notes:

Here I totally spoil the movie Poor Things; you've been warned. Bella Baxter is my hero. I also saw the musical The Book of Mormon. I discuss the themes these artworks brought up for me: innocence being inherent, morality, and making our art at all costs. Embracing that as an artist, I am dangerous to someone. I also know (ie. am learning) I am innocent, foremost. Dangerous AND innocent. I discuss the ego being more flexible than we give it credit for, and I update God (as usual) and mention the show Chimp Empire once again! Can’t recommend enough!

Speaking of morality! I mention the ongoing genocide in Gaza, as well as horribleness in the Sudan and the Congo (these I know less of the situation, not that I know heaps about the Israel/Palestine history). I feel since I am mentioning these things I should also share places to donate to them, if you feel inspired to. I’m currently learning that mutual aid is often better than the larger orgs, so I will share both. Remember, gentleness is the secret handshake.

I love you, I love this world. I love that we are not a broken species, we are just wild af. I want every single person on Earth to know a hearty meal, the love of a home, and to know the joy of the sun though a shady tree, with a friend or lover close by. If everything is allowed, this is the world I’m choosing.
